(Un)worthy Reception of the Lord's Supper

The Corinthians were treating the LORD'S Supper as their OWN supper. On account of their abuse, they were receiving it to their judgment and not for their benefit. Paul's response informs the way in which we receive and administer the sacrament.

Questions for discussion

This passage--especially verses 27-29--reinforces a proper understanding of what is orally received in the sacrament. Which of the three major views does it support: transubstantiation, representation, or real presence? Explain your answer.
