Assisted-living Ministry

For more than fifteen years our pastor and lay leaders have been holding thirty-minute services at facilities throughout the Richmond metro area. Before the pandemic we were serving three facilities on a weekly basis and one facility monthly.

COVID forced us to pause the program. We have since resumed weekly services at Brandermill Woods Health Care on Tuesday afternoons, and at Watercrest and Sunrise at Bon Air on Sunday mornings.

If you would like to request services at your facility, please contact us.

Carol with us this Christmas!

Whether you have a voice ready for a Christmas CD or simply enjoy humming your favorite Christmas hymns, you’re invited to join us! All members of the congregation are welcome to participate in this annual event on Saturday, December 14. We’ll spread the Christmas message by song at three local assisted-living facilities and to a few Living Hope families who aren’t able to get out regularly. This is a great way to meet the members at the facilities whom Living Hope regularly supports through our Assisted-living Ministry.

The fun starts at 1:00 pm, and we’ll wrap up back at the church around 4:30 pm for cookies and hot chocolate. It promises to be a joyful, rewarding afternoon!

To join, please contact Joan Marley (our choir director) directly or sign up here! We just need your name to know how many to expect. If you need help with carpooling, let us know, and we’ll organize it.

Choir members are also asked to indicate their availability to participate.

How can we help you?
